Projek Laluan Rel Pantai Timur (ECRL) yang dibangunkan Malaysia Rail Link Sdn Bhd (MRL) dan kontraktor utamanya, China Communications Construction Company Ltd (CCCC) menyasarkan pengambilan 70 peratus pekerja tempatan, manakala 30 peratus lagi tenaga kerja dari China dan negara Asia lain.
