| description | This study examines the perceptions of UiTM Bandaraya Melaka staffs toward factors increasing number of old folks at Rumah Seri Kenangan. Reviews of the literature show that there are few factors that influence the increasing number of old folks at Rumah Seri Kenangan. Studies done by other researchers were used as guidelines to determines what factors to be tested in this study and the factors are the attitudes of old folks, the economy status of the children, and level of education of the children. A questionnaire survey was distributed to 150 respondents among UiTM Bandaraya Melaka staffs. A total of 150 valid responses were obtained. Data analysis shows that significant relationship exist between attitudes of old folks and level education of the children. The economy status of the children is the most influence factor that contributes to the increasing number of old folks sent to Rumah Seri Kenangan. |
