description Millennial knowledge workers are the largest component of the international labour market. They have many different characteristics compared to other generations of employees. Especially in China, the millennial generation was born in the fastest growing stage of China. Thus, it is necessary for contemporary organizations to explore and adopt appropriate methods to manage knowledge employees of millennials, motivate them with reasonable methods, improve their performance and fully explore their creativity. This study adopts quantitative research methods, using Chinese millennial knowledge workers as the sample and survey them by questionnaire. Then, adopts statistical methods to analyse the data, then comparing the results with the previous researches and theories. Through investigation and research, it found that external regulation is the main incentive method for millennials knowledge employees in China, followed by intrinsic motivation. Meanwhile, this study found that the age, length of employment and position are significantly related to their incentives.
