In the contemporary context where Islam is characterized as merciless and cruel religion, this paper aims to explore the truth of such accusations, discussing the issue of prisoners of war (POWS) in contrast & comparison. The paper investigates how the Final Prophet of Islam (pbuh) & his Companions treated POWS in the most humane way.
