According to the recent statistical report, the trend of the annual performance of the telecommunication sector of Pakistan is decreasing from 2019-2020. Hence, this study aims to examine the influence of knowledge management on organizational performance, examine the mediating roles of workplace bullying and employee performance on the relationship between knowledge management and organizational performance among employees of telecommunication sector in Punjab, Pakistan. This study used a quantitative and cross-sectional research design. Unit of analysis was the employees working in the telecommunication companies of Jazz, Telenor, Ufone and Zong in Punjab, Pakistan. Self-administered questionnaires were distributed to the respondents using simple random sampling after pre-test and pilot test were conducted. After conducting normality testing, 440 questionnaires were fit for analysis. Data analysis was performed using Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) software while Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) using AMOS. The findings of the study support all the hypotheses whereby knowledge management has positive effect on organization performance. The mediation analysis revealed that workplace bullying and employee performance have partial mediation effects on knowledge management and organization performance. The findings of this study indicated that when the telecommunication companies share and manage the valuable knowledge with employees, they give values to the human resource and provide a conducive workplace, which in turn will elevate organization performance. This study offered significant theoretical insights as this study was pioneer to demonstrate an integrated structural model that links knowledge management, employee performance, workplace bullying and organizational performance in telecommunication sector. This study provided significant contribution to the management of telecommunication companies on the mediating effect of workplace bullying and employee performance as crucial factors that can impact organization performance. This study is beneficial in the policy-making on how the telecommunication companies can enhance their performance by utilize the findings from this study to manage employee performance effectively and to minimize the detrimental impact of workplace bullying in an organization. This research should be useful for developing countries such as Pakistan by understanding how companies can enhance their organizational performance through proper knowledge management, improvement of employee performance and reduction of workplace bullying.
