We present the case of a white patient of 17 years of age, who, as a result of an accident at the working place, suffered the total detachment of his upper right limb in the shoulder area. He was admitted in the emergency unit presenting hypovolemic shock and was immediately stabilized to perform later the limb reimplantation.
