Jordan Schwartz
Jordan Schwartz (New Haven, Connecticut, US, 22 October 1965) is a senior executive in the field of multilateral financing for emerging economies. After 25 years at the World Bank, he is currently the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Inter-American Bank of Development (IDB) where he chairs the operations and policy committee, overseeing the quality functions, strategy, and risk management for all IDB operations.In 2023, the IDB Group (composed of IDB, which works with governments; IDB Invest, the private sector arm; and IDB Lab, the innovation and venture capital arm) financed and mobilized nearly $24.3 billion.
