| Summary: | This study is about the education sector which is an important part of the development
of each country and the allocation of the sector is always the focus of every country
and a huge allocation every year to ensure that every community has access to
education by providing comprehensive educational access. This research is focused on
the education system in Terengganu State where the people are given attention and
prioritize development projects. This can be demonstrated through one of the annual
programs implemented by the state government, a school aid program involving low
income recipients. The state government allocates a certain amount of money each
year to this school aid program. During the implementation period, two methods of
distribution, namely cash and school uniforms were implemented and resulted in
various problems arising during the implementation period. It needs to be considered
and strengthened for its implementation to take place in the future. The objectives of
this study will focus on the relationship between quality of service and parent
satisfaction as a school aid recipients. In addition, the study will also study the effect
of demographics (age) on customer satisfaction. The research method used was
quantitative by using a survey instrument of 221 school aid recipients in Setiu and
Marang districts. Data were analyzed using IBM SPSS version 25.0 software, using
various analysis methods. The results show that the dimensions of assurance,
trustworthiness and responsiveness have a significant relationship with school aid
satisfaction, while the dimensions of tangibility and empathy are insignificant. This
clearly indicates that the Terengganu State Government should playa proactive role in
improving service delivery by improving existing methods and identifying relevant
issues to facilitate the effective delivery of services to the people.
