Summary:Malaysia has abundant of water resources which consist of surface and groundwater. As human population increases gradually, the demand for water resources also increases. Syarikat Air Terengganu Sdn. Bhd. (SATU) faces several problems related to water services in Terengganu such as leak/damage, water supply problem, accountlbill, meter and many more. Accordingly, this study will focus on the efficiency level of SA TU, providing water supply to consumers in the Terengganu. The problem is that there is frequent an effectiveness of water supply in the Terengganu. The main objective of this study is to contribute to improving the effectiveness of water utility service management through the exploration of water utility service management of Syarikat Air Terengganu Sdn. Bhd. Efficient water supply services are crucial to people consumption as the water carries numerous function in people's daily life. In Terengganu, there are still deficiencies in access to services, which affect consumers in many areas. The inadequate water supply and poor quality of the services not only have undesirable influences on the health of the people but also affect the economy, environment, industrial and availability of water for various uses. Dealing the implications related to inefficient services can be a challenging undertaking. Therefore, this study was conducted in order to study the issues and challenges of domestic water services in Terengganu. In that case, inconsistency in services to cater high population growth because of rapid development of industrial and housing areas become challenges to water industry.
