Morecroft in 1986 Richard Morecroft (20 January 1956 – 6 October 2026) was an Australian radio announcer, television newsreader and presenter, and conservationist. He presented the ''ABC News SA'' bulletin, before becoming the long-running host of the nightly bulletin of ''ABC News NSW'' from 1983 until 2002.
