Effect of earth grid conductor spacing on the safety criteria of substation earthing by Buba, Sani Dahiru, Wan Ahmad, Wan Fatinhamamah, Ab Kadir, Mohd Zainal Abidin, Gomes, Chandima, Jasni, Jasronita, Osman, Miszaina

    Published 2014
“…Site dependent parameters such as soil resistivity, maximum grid current, fault duration, shock duration, surface layer material resistivity, and grid geometry have substantial impact on the design and performance of an earth grid. The grid geometry, i.e. the area occupied by the grid system, conductor spacing and the depth of burial of earth grid specifically have much impact on the mesh, step, touch voltage and earth potential rise, while parameters such as the conductor diameter and the thickness of the surfacing material have less impact on the safety criteria. …”

Conditioned duality of the Earth system: Geochemical tracing of the supercontinent cycle through Earth history by Van Kranendonk, M., Kirkland, Chris

    Published 2016
“…The balance between constructive versus destructive processes in the formation and recycling of continental crust over Earth history – or crustal growth – remains contentious; whereas some advocate continuous continental growth, others suggest episodic growth predominantly during periods of supercontinent assembly. …”

Linking Atmospheric Oxygenation to the Deep Earth by Liebmann, Janne

    Published 2020
“…This thesis proposes a model for the co-evolution of the Earth’s interior and surface environment. Specifically, this model suggests that the emergence of continents above sea-level 2.4 billion years ago led to a flush of nutrients into the oceans providing a boost for photosynthetic bacteria. …”
