In order to guarantee effectiveness of implementation, there is a need to identify list of factors which can contribute to the success of Design and Build project. This study reviews Design and Build as a project delivery method which includes definitions, types and parties involved.The more importantof this study is identification factors that contribute to project success theoretically and practically which occur in construction industry. The study shows that, there are many critical factors which contribute to the design and build project success . In local construction industry, the most critical factor a Project Team Commitment followed by Contractor’s Competencies, Risk and Liability Assessment, Client's Competencies and lastly Project Characteristic. Determination of Design And Build project an success factors is very important aspect of this research so that it can be used as a guide to practitioners involved in local construction industry. |
