| Summary: | This study aimed at identifying the level of awareness of social media use on safety issues among youths. The study was based on a survey using frequency (frequency), percentage, mean score, and interpretation. The sample involved 205 randomly selected youths from Tun Hussein Onn University Malaysia (UTHM). The data analysis of this study was conducted using Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 21. The results showed that the level of awareness of social media use among youth was low. In addition, the correlation coefficient did not show significant social media usage with the level of awareness of social media among students but in contrast, it showed a low value. |
