Findings indicate that the interactions of the +TS groups were more engaged and of higher quality than the -TS groups. The +TS groups also achieved the highest level of CP (Resolution). In summary, the task provided direction and facilitation to the COI and facilitated in developing cognitive presence, especially for the +TS groups, even though there was no teacher present. |
