Summary:Business has become advanced with the revolution of information technology (IT) such as the usage of computer system, servers, internet, wireless connections and electronic gadgets. In fact, IT has enhanced the growth of accounting, where it has replaced the old processes which are paper ledgers and accounting books. These traditional processes have been replaced by the digital transformation in the company such as computerized accounting system. IT has also provide advantages in the current business operations by reducing the lead time required by the accountants in preparing the financial statements of the company and it has enhance the accuracy and the reliability of the information presented by the accountants (Fernandez, Zainol & Ahmad, 2017).
