description This project aims for the development of a mobile application that will enhance the accessibility to blood banks for many people. Many potential donors may want to contribute but need guidance, while recipients may face delays in accessing blood. Thus, our project aims to develop a user-friendly mobile app for donors, recipients, hospitals, and organizations. This system will offer efficient services for blood donation and reception, allowing users to locate nearby blood banks easily. Additionally, organizations can manage blood drives and appointments through the app. It will be designed with both novice and experienced donors in mind, offering a range of features to streamline the process. Ultimately, our goal is to enhance the global healthcare system by facilitating blood donation process for those in need. The chosen methodology for this project is Agile Development, as it is the most suitable methodology in adapting to necessary changes throughout development for each module. The features of the project are broken down into parts to be developed incrementally. Each module is tested before moving on to the next developing module. This results in a faster delivery of the product, while maintaining testing in small releases aligned to the developed module. Primarily targeting the Android platform, the app will be developed using software tools such as Visual Studio Code for coding in Dart programming language, and Firebase for database storage.
