description This research will examine the “Organisational factors affecting job satisfaction among hypermarket employees in the retail industry”. The relationship between Direct Compensation, Job Security, and Perceived Orgaisational Support factors with Job Satisfaction are investigated. In this study, SPSS (Statistical Package for The Social Sciences) version 27 will be used to run the data analysis including descriptive analysis, reliability analysis, and inferential analysis such as Pearson’s Correlation Analysis and Multiple Regression Analysis) to test the relationships between independent variables and dependent variable. Besides, PROCESS v4.2 is used to run the data analysis for testing the mediating variable. Hypermarket employees who working in Lotus’s, Giant Hypermarket (GCH Retail), AEON BIG, Mydin, and Econsave located in Malaysia will be our target respondents. Questionnaires were distributed through snowball sampling method and 150 responses were collected. Furthermore, the analysis proved that there is significant relationship between the independent variables (Direct Compensation, Job Security, Perceived Organizational Support) and dependent variable (Job Satisfaction. For mediating variable (Psychological Empowerment), also shown there is a significant relationship between perceived organizational support and job satisfaction which is mediated by psychological empowerment.
