“魔幻写实主义”这个术语原本是德国评论家法兰兹-罗于1925年提出说明德国一群画家的特征。不过，美洲的作家们使用这一词来述说自己的民族的苦难与独特文化之美，从而形成属于拉丁美洲小说的“魔幻写实小说”。马华文学的魔幻写实正是在无法以现实主义的创作来涉及种族，马共等当时敏感的课题的历史背景下与作家报复所诞生的。为此，此论文选择从文艺历史学，文艺文化与文艺心理学的角度分别对小说中的历史情节，文化意象与人物心理进行解读。...
