Knowledge regarding travel behaviour can assist in marketing and product planning and development which can increase the number of vi sitors to tourism products such as Hotel and transport service provider. The research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to the students who are currently studying higher education in Malaysia and Thailand university. The findings indicate substa ntial differences and similarities between Malaysia and Thailand university student travel behaviour and preferences. These are directly related to their future preferences and behaviour in domestic and international travelling. Important conclusions for t ravel expenditure, travel transportation, and social media are suggested. Lastly, the finding of comparative study has provided influential information to Malaysia tourism industry players. |
