"论马华文学中的文学混血" ; A Study of Literary Hybridity in Malaysian Chinese Literature"

以历史的角度来看，马华族群从中国移民南洋，经历了殖民时期至马来西亚建国与独立，有着特殊的集体经历和情感，马华作家们把这些集体记忆书写到文字当中。经历过离乡背井的老一辈作家们，中国对他们来说是一份难以割舍的情怀，或许是因为有些亲人还留在中国难以相见，也许是因为身在异乡，以外来者的身份居住在马来西亚一直寻求不到身份认同，经历着失根的苦楚，所以对中国有着浓烈的念想。故此第一代的马华作家在书写时大多以中国为背景，他们时刻关注着中国的命运，从文字中带出作家强烈的寻根意愿。马华文学的内容包罗万象，大至关乎马来西亚国家社会的课题，小至日常生活中的点滴，将中国想象与本土色彩结合...
