Despite of being popular in horticulture, Spathoglottis is a taxonomically confused genus in Orchidaceae. For example, confusion is detected between a pair of species within the yellow-flowered Spathoglottis; the S. aurea and S. microchilina with both species show a complex morphological plasticity. |
