Di samping itu, kesan kebulatan gelendong brek menunjukkan hubungan yang kuat terhadap taburan tekanan tersebut. Kesan kebulatan gelendong brek terhadap keupayaan kebisingan dikaji dalam penyelidikan ini. Brake squeal is associated with the dynamic instability of a coupled mode of individual components of brake system. During the braking process, the contact pressure along the friction material interface is not uniformly distributed. Furthermore the effect of roundness on drum brake shows the strong relation towards contact pressure distribution. In this research, the effect of roundness on drum brake towards squeal propensity was studied.
