Projek ini bertujuan untuk mengenalpasti potensi pembelajaran secara SMS dalam menyokong pelbagai bidang penyelidikan, dibahagikan kepada lima kumpulan kajian. Penyelidikan pertama bertujuan untuk mengkaji tahap kesedaran tentang pedagogi m-pembelajaran, di mana tinjauan telah melibatkan 551 orang pelajar dari 11 universiti awam di Malaysia dan mendapti pelajarpelajar secara umumnya tidak menyedari tentang bagaimana m-pembelajaran membantu mereka dalam pembelajaran. Projek kedua berkaitan dengan pembangungan sistem m-pembelajaran berasaskan SMS, iaitu sistem 'Pocket Education' (PE®) yang digunakan untuk melaksanakan sistem pembelajaran berteraskan SMS dalam pelbagai aplikasi kajian, termasuklah UniPE.
