Further observations on the life cycle and vectors of the haemosporidian Leucocytozoon tawaki and its transmission to the Fiordland crested penguin

Hepatic and renal schizonts are described from Fiordland crested penguin (Eudyptes pachyrh ynchus) chicks, and renal and splenic schizonts from mature birds.
