description This paper describes the mathematical model and the experimental responses of the Pontoon Pier system. A method of finding the mathematical model of the pier has been proposed. It has been found that the Pontoon Pier response calculated by the proposed method has shown some improvement of the settling time and the system's overshoot. A simple circuit of measuring the water level has been developed and the effect of changing the damping factor or the stiffness of the system can be illustrated.
