Flavonoid patterns of M. pudica differs from M. longihirsuta as the former species synthesized kaempferol 7-rutinoside and kaempferol 3-glucoside-7-rhamnoside, and the latter species produced quer­cetin 3-glucoside-7-rhamnoside.
