description A homogenous mixed nano-emulsion formulation to be applied topically includes 15 to 30 w/w%of oil phase comprising natural wax and illipe fat esters; 70 to 85 w/w% of water phase comprising deionized water, a pharmaceutically acceptable humectant, an polyethylene glycol-derived emulsifier; 0.1 to 2% of preservative; wherein both water phase and oil phase are heated to a temperature between 55 to 90C separately prior to homogenization followed by adding the preservative. In another preferred embodiment which the illipe fat is used for replacing the homogenous mixed emulsion formulation to be applied topically including 5 to 15 w/w% of oil phase comprising natural wax and illipe fat; 85 to 95 w/w% of water phase comprising deionized water, a pharmaceutically acceptable humectant, an polyethylene glycol-derived emulsifier; 0.1 to 2% of preservative.
