Thus, gram negative pathogens tested including Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae and Pseudomonas aeruginosa showed resistant phenotypic pattern to both extracts. Results of the present study confirmed the potential use of seaweed extract as a source of antibacterial compounds. |
