| Summary: | Phosphoglyceride crystals deposition disease (PCDD) is an exceedingly rare disease with striking resemblance to sarcoma radiologically and clinically. There have been only 13 reported cases so far. Interestingly, all these cases were exclusively reported from Japan. There is no apparent reason for this peculiar country predilection. There are no gender predilection, congenital abnormalities, metabolic disorders, or familial history associated with the disease. The affected patients ranged from 37 to 76 years of age. Our case illustrates Malaysia's first reported case of PCDD.
