Data collection was conducted by preparing questionnaire and the collected data were analyzed using SPSS method. The waste survey is conducted to identify type of
solid waste composition and to achieve the solid waste generation rate. From the analysis, the major type of solid waste produced is organic matter and the solid
waste generation rate is 0.185 kg/person/day. The major factor that affects the solid waste generation is villagers’ background such as education, family income and size, frequency of food preparation and frequency of waste disposal. |
