| Summary: | This project seeks to gain insight on user reactions during web site explorations. This project also seeks insight into the disciplines that contribute to human computer interaction (Hel). Data was gathered from verbal recording and transcribed for analysis. The subjects consisted of12 participants. They were divided into 2 groups, familiar and less familiar in accessing the Internet. Each group was made up of 2 sub-groups; undergraduates and non-graduates. From the findings, it was found that those who were familiar with the Internet were able to apply strategies while accessing the Internet for information as compared to those who were less familiar. Besides that, subjects gave more attention towards the structuring ofthe content, interface design and loading time. Subjects also expressed dissatisfaction with the interaction towards the end of the Internet surfing session. |
