Description
Summary:The rapid growth of the global semiconductor industry, driven by electronic technology, makes sustainability evaluation crucial. This article proposes a model to systematically assess and prioritize sustainability within the sector, addressing economic, social, environmental, and ecological goals. It introduces a sustainability evaluation model that links the triple-bottom-line (TBL) dimensions economic, environmental, and social with perspectives like learning and growth, process, market, and financial through a correlation matrix. The paper reviews literature to identify relevant performance indicators, analyzes their progress and maturity, and highlights areas for further development in the semiconductor sector. Keywords like “sustainability indicators,” “life cycle assessment tools,” and “economic and social evaluation” guided the research focus.
