| Summary: | The issue of unclaimed inheritance is being a huge problem in our country nowadays. The value of unclaimed inheritance is increasing from year to years. It is reported by The National Land and Mines Department that on 2016 the statistic of frozen property that are not claimed were over than Rm60 billion (Nor Afzan,2019). This collection of
frozen property and unclaimed inheritance is a serious problem and it need to be resolve (Z. H. Ghul, M. H. Yahya, and A. Abdullah, 2014). The realistic and practical solutions
are needed and there is a needs to search a good mechanism that can solve this issue from continuing (Wajis N, Sahid M, Ab. Rahman A, 2018). Therefore, this study will
be discussed about the issue or factors for unclaimed inheritance as well as the solution to reduce the problem of unclaimed inheritance. To achieve the objective of the
research, this study used qualitative method and data collection via interview with Mr. Muhammad Firdaus bin Mohd Yusof, which from as-Salihin Trustee Berhad. And
using secondary data research from journal, previous research, news and article. Thus, it is, expected that knowledge, cooperation between family members and clear management of institution to claim inheritance should resolve the problem of unclaimed inheritance.
