description Second language learning (L2) has been increasing lately especially in Malaysia. One of the most languages people learns as their L2 is Arabic. In Malaysia, most of citizens are Muslims and this could be one of the reasons people here learns Arabic. This study was conducted in order to investigate the reasons why people learn Arabic as their L2 in Arab Mikro Arabic Language and Consultancy. People doing something because of them feel motivated by some reasons. Motivational factors which influenced the Arabic performance in term of Grade Point Average (GPA) are the main focus in this study. The factors involved based Self-Determination Theory; Intrinsic motivation, Extrinsic motivation, and Amotivation. A questionnaire consist of 46 questions from all motivation factors was taken from the suggestion of the recent studies were applied in this study. A total of 84 respondents were randomly selected from the students of Arab Mikro who answer the questionnaire and took the examination. The questionnaire was distributed directly to the respondents with the purpose of gathering the primary data. The overall findings showed that most of the respondents have good Arabic performance. The logistic regression model was created using Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 20. All the objectives achieved and several suggestions had been proposed to the related parties to ensure full attention paid towards the studies problems. The study found that only 5 variables from motivational factors had an association with the GPA. However, two of them did not include in the final logistic model since they had correlation between other independent variables. Out of 47 variables, only 6 of them were significant in developing the logistic regression model
