| description | This case study explored on the differences that the new system contributed to the inventory controls in Fine Batik SDN BHD. The new system should maximize the performance of this retail based company as it rely on its stocks to do business. If the company could not meet the customers’ demands, they will face losses that will affect the company’s profit. The study will do comparison between the previous and the new system regarding its effectiveness in minimizing time and cost in the inventory process. Next, the study also focuses on the importance of the employees as workforce behind the system to make it successful. The company should not rely on the system alone as the employees also play an important role as backbones that will help to handle the physical stock after the system had the databases of the stocks. The main issue of this study is how the new system makes a difference in inventory control and the comparison between the new and the previous system. Other issue related to this study is the relationship of the performance of employees in making the inventory process a success. |
