| description | This report is on proposed new interior design of youth centre for Kelab Rakan Muda at Lot 2395, Seksyen 41, Jalan Sultan Ismail, 50350 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan. The suggested location is strategic enough to achieve the objective for this project which is to create a new interior design of youth centre for Kelab Rakan Muda that reflects the new image of Kelab Rakan Muda itself. At the same time, this centre is proposed as an activity centre for members of Kelab Rakan Muda. Informations gathering such as site analysis, interviews and datas through books, newspaper clippings and internet are done to fulfill the requirements of a succesful youth centre. Based from the findings in case studies, it can be concluded that youth centre in Malaysia lack of certain attraction that could interest youth. Therefore, for this project, the concept chosen is “Vibrant”. Since Kelab Rakan Muda has entered the new phase of its image, the mission is to make the new youth centre more lively and energetic in order to attract youth to participate in the club’s activities. This is parallel with the definition of vibrant itself which means bright or lively. All of the data collections should be implemented in the design process so that the concept and image of vibrant modern interior will be reflected in the design. Through this proposal, it is hoped that Kelab Rakan Muda will achieve its main aim which is to increase the participation of youth in the club itself and the activities that they organized. |
