Expert craftsmen have passed this woodcarving craft form down from generation to generation. Each piece is decorated with symbolic meaning and cultural significance as well as responding to everyday use. This research aims to study the design of patterns found in these wood carvings. and interpret the meaning of beauty and symbolism The corner focuses on understanding aesthetics and artwork that is connected to and understands the value of the cultural identity and beliefs of Muslim communities in Pattani, Yala, and Narathiwat provinces. It can be said that Malay wood carving is influenced by Islam.
