The importance of the current study is to understand the comfort level and mental shift of the users in Malaysia towards the adoption and disruption of cryptocurrency in Malaysia. Therefore, the objective of this study is to be able to provide both theoretical and practical significances by integrating the concept of Perceived Trust Risk and Perceived Security Risk into the Technology Acceptance Model. Data for all the study variables were collected through self-administered survey questionnaires. 218 primary data is examined with reliability test, independent sample t-test, and SEM (Structural Equation Modelling) analysis. Positive relationships are found in the presence of all the hypothesised relationships between the five constructs; Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Trust Risk, Perceived Security Risk with Intention to Use Cryptocurrencies. However, this study shows that there is no significant difference between Perceived Ease of Use and Perceived Usefulness.
