Description
Summary:POCKET is a private limited company that will be established in Malaysia. As a fintech, POCKET provides subscription-based personal financial planning and advisory services to Malaysia mass-market customers. By combining the best of high-tech and high touch of robo-advisor and human advisor, POCKET will reinvent the financial planning process in better efficiency and effectiveness, eventually transform personal financial planning and advisory services to be more accessible and affordable by Malaysians, especially for the low- to medium-income segment. To finance the development of the business idea, evaluation of the feasibility, and demonstrated technical validity to regulators, POCKET is seeking seed funding of RM4 million in exchange for 50% shares to finance. POCKET is expected to achieve a positive net income of around RM5.5 million at more than 30% gross margin after 3 years in operation. Furthermore, in the third year of operation, the management of POCKET will look for an opportunity of an acquisition offer from larger firms or an initial public offering to raise funds for its operation cost. Therefore, seed investors may opt to dispose of their shares or hold for long-term investment, given the overall shareholder equity is projected to reach more than RM21 million 2 years later.
