description In the literature related to innovation, how gender diversity affects the development of innovation has always been a problem, which has not been well resolved in the academic world. This paper aims to investigate the relationship between gender diversity and corporate innovation. Innovation is mainly investigated by R&D capital, R&D intensity and R&D strength. Through data collection of 300 listed companies in the United States from 2010 to 2019, we find that gender diversity is positively correlated with firm innovation and based on our Robustness test, our results remain robust. Finally, the research provides some implications and contributions and also illustrates the limitations of the research in this article and the outlook of the future.
