Summary:The retention of graduates in the company is becoming more and more essential for companies’ continuous development, because graduates are too talented to be ignored. In order to enhance graduate retention, this study would identify the link between institutional trust, trust in supervisors, trust in co-workers, organisational commitment and graduate retention organisations, trying to implement strategies of trust and organisational commitment that might improve the retention rate in the company. This research has collected subjects both from UK and China,192 valid questionnaires, and all the data were analysed by technique SPSS 17.0. This research conducts descriptive statistics, reliability and factor analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis. The results show that gender and location are all significantly correlated with all forms of trust, organisational commitment and graduate retention. All variables in this research are positively correlated with each other, moreover, organisational commitment is proved to mediate the relationship between three forms of trust and graduate retention.
