description State-of-the-art technologies in manufacturing arise new opportunities for businesses. With the help of cyber-physical technologies, Internet Of Things (IoT), cloud computing, the so-called Industry 4.0 (Zezulka, 2016) has created a new manufacturing system called “smart factory”. Part of this smart factory is based on the pillar named Cloud Manufacturing (CMfg), an innovative paradigm which allows companies to be more agile, flexible and adaptable to the market while reducing cost. Indeed, CMfg enables companies to manage all the manufacturing information over a platform in order to improve collaboration between the stakeholders of this environment. Thence, Cloud manufacturing is radically changing the manufacturing arrangement in both operational and strategic level. To evaluate the performance of this technology on manufacturing processes and more widely on the business model, several case studies of CMfg implementation will be analysed in this paper. The main objective of this work is to understand how does Cloud manufacturing impact Supply Chains and to help process and tools managers to know if investing into this technology will create a real added value for their company and their final customers.
