Using general questions regarding individual’s willingness to take risks “in general” and “financially” and their impulsiveness and patience it is found that age, sex, religion, frequency of religious practice and nationality all have an economically significant impact on at least one of these factors. However the validity of survey results is called into question when the responses are correlated with findings in laboratory experiments. |
