Description
Summary:This dissertation addresses the topic of internal communication and its role for achieving engagement and involvement from the internal audience of organizations. The objectives of this dissertation are twofold. The first objective is to review the existing literature about this topic and set a parameter regarding which sub topics are involved in it. The second one is about developing a model of internal communication for achieving internal CSR engagement. The literature review supported an initial assumption regarding the lack of academic research about the topic of this dissertation. Additionally, a model of five stages based on a managerial perspective has been presented. This model was based on the findings obtained from the literature review and complemented by suggestions proposed by the author of this dissertation. In this sense, the intentions surrounding this model are to contribute to the knowledge available about this subject, to encourage further research about this topic, and to be useful as a guideline for practitioners.
