Description
Summary:This paper examines whether associating the argument of increasing women on board should be related to increasing financial stability in the business. This paper analysis 30 companies out of the FTSE 100 companies to find out the correlation between women on board and financial performance of the companies. It also conducts the study of risk preferences between gender and whether the decisions are only influenced by the risk attitudes. The results show that there is no evident proof that the financial performance of the company is highly influenced by women on board. And that the decisions are also dependent on other factors like heuristics, biases etc.
