Description
Summary:In late August 2009, prior to their enrollment, first year students in the School of Biology were surveyed for their opinions on their perceptions of aspects of university life. The survey centered around preparedness, motivation and expectations. The results were then compared and contrasted with a follow up questionnaire, which was distributed to the same group of students via their tutors in February 2010 to coincide with the release of first semester exam results. The second questionnaire builds on the previous and explores support, feedback and involvement. The findings provide a unique reference for the School.
