The researcher identified areas requiring general improvement in internal processes for PPES’s Purchasing, Inventory Management, Forecasting and Customer Service entities. A compiled summary of benchmarking partner aftermarket supply chain best practices formed the basis for an analysis that determined PPES’s performance gaps were most apparent in the Forecasting and Customer Service entities. Recommendations were made with consideration on viability, including software upgrades to improve forecasting sophistication and ways to more accurately estimate delivery times to improve customer satisfaction. |
