description The aim of this study is to evaluate the level of compliance of the PRIMA-EF best practice guidelines by assessing the psychosocial risk management topics covered by various training programmes across some countries within the European Union. The data obtained was from a group of PRIMA-EF project partners who wanted to find out if there were gaps between psychosocial risk management policies and best practice. What necessitated this research was the need to determine the level of intervention and prevention of psychosocial risks available through awareness creation that currently exists, and areas of possible recommendations. This discussion has become inevitable as a result of the changing nature of work and work organisations. Along with these changes has emerged various occupational and health risks that if not taken care of, could lead to diseases among workers and also an unhealthy work environment. This study will highlight its findings through the use of literature review linked with qualitative analysis using both descriptive and thematic methods in order to arrive at a comprehensive appraisal of data collated.
