Many measures were introduces by various policy making institutions with the intervention of the government, but the problems lies as it is. So something should be wrong with these created policies such as the problems have not been identified correctly, policies are not related to solve the problems or there is lack of implementation. The focus of this dissertation is to analyze how these policy making institutions would see, social and economic problems relating to labour migration in Sri Lanka, by employing narrative approach combined with collective case studies. Findings of the study reveals that thought these organizations have correct identified the causes and consequences of these problems and have created policies there are inefficiencies at the implementation Stage. The outcome suggests that, these organizations should collaborate together at the implementation in order to eliminate these problems from Sri Lanka. |
