description The, IT/ ITeS sector globally has under gone tremendous changes in the recent years. Companies like IBM, Accenture and EDS made the most of it by dominating the industry with mega contracts and multimillion dollar accusations. Companies from India like Satyam, TCS, Wipro and Infosys who emerged from the foray of the outsourcing boom have also undergone huge transformation and have become global players. It is well known that the most important business process for any ITeS company would be its Service Delivery System, which is based on multi dimensional approaches based primarily on location centric strategies. The aim of the study is to look into the importance of location selection process for these companies and its impact on the services delivery model of the firms. Satyam Computers Limited, an Indian IT- ITeS company will be considered for the study to look into these issue like what are the most influencing process for companies to develop their business in order be competitive in the market; this will be evaluated by using porter’s diamond framework, which is a comprehensive tool to determine the internationalization process of a company as well as evaluate the companies competitiveness in the market it operates in. The framework gives an insight into what would be the most influencing factors which give rise to software IT/ ITeS companies in the global market. The report would further look into the prospects of using GIS technology as a strategic tool to simulate the best possible service delivery patterns for ITeS companies globally. This approach would be based as a model which can be adapted by companies to obtain costeffectiveness and productivity in their respective business.
